For my water reflections oil pastel, I placed my flower ring in the glass. There aren't many things that I could really think of to place in the water, but the ring seemed to fit the idea pretty well. It was unique and original, as well as colorful and a bit silly(who would think of putting a really big flower as a ring?). I thought it kind of described me and how I'm unique in my own way(if you notice on the final picture up above my explanation, some of the little crystal-like pieces in the center are missing) and like to have fun with color.

I'm obsessed with a few things actually. One is taking pictures in mirrors. I love the way that the smudges or perfume sprays show up really bold in the pictures and make it look cool. I'm also obsessed with volleyball. It's so much fun and I really enjoy it. Colors are beautiful things that make everything so lively. And music is amazing....enough said.

I like to spend time doing many things or being with a lot of people. I enjoy spending time with friends because I have so much fun with them and we have a lot of good times together. I also love to spend time at the beach. I love the ocean, and the sounds the waves make. It's so relaxing there. Spending time with family means a lot to me, because they love me and care about me, and love to be with me. And lastly, I love playing volleyball and spending my time playing and practicing it. It makes me happy to be playing a sport, especially volleyball.

These are some of the works that I did over the summer in the art class with Mr. Sebastian. We focused on using a lot of color(if that wasn't already a tad obvious) and instead of making it realistic, making it ours. My absolute favorite is the tea pot with the two green apples in front of it. I went completely out of my comfort zone to use that much color, and I am rather proud of the outcome. The black shoe and colorful ground was for showing the colorful reflections in the shine of the shoe. The tea cup was just for showing the color in the reflections of light. The eye was my practice for the self portrait(not shown) we did at the end of the week.
